From a young age, Sinclaire Reddings knew she was destined for a creative path. Inspired by her grandmother's stories, whom she affectionately calls "The Original Creative," she grew up hearing about her grandmother's sacrifices. Despite being a talented painter and seamstress, her grandmother had to leave school and work on a farm to support her family. This legacy of resilience and creativity, alongside her mother's influence, motivated Sinclaire to pursue a career as a set designer.

Sinclaire was born and raised in Thomasville, Georgia. She dealt with racism and the lack of resources for creative children in her hometown. So, after attending college and earning a degree in Business Administration, she aspired to move to a more inclusive and diverse place in 2019, she decided that place was Atlanta. She got her big break in 2022 when she was hired as the Production Designer and Art Director for Bounce TV. This was followed by projects with rappers Lil' Baby and Lil' Durk gaining notoriety for her set designing skills.

Sinclaire has continued to excel in her career after signing with The Spin Style Agency in 2023 on a referral from a resident set designer, Risha Carnes. Her portfolio is a visual work of art with familiar faces like Kevin Bacon, Stacey Abrams, and the sister singing duo Chloe and Halle, to name a few. When asked for a standout moment in her career thus far, she says working with renowned fashion designer Law Roach would come in pretty high, followed closely by her work with Essence magazine. Working with icons like Rihanna and Beyoncé and building a set for the Super Bowl are just a few items on her ever-growing vision board. She recently got the opportunity to build a set from scratch for an upcoming Netflix special, and she loved being given creative latitude to execute a vision of that magnitude.

Having faced challenges as a Black woman growing up in a small town, Sinclaire is deeply passionate about diversity and inclusion. This shared commitment made The Spin Style Agency the perfect home for her. She wants to be a trailblazer for other Black people in the creative arena by executing creative direction with excellence and showing the industry that this is the rule and no longer the exception. She emphasizes, "There is simply not enough representation in the creative process and the positions where the decisions are made. I want to change that.”

Sinclaire credits her love for what she does and her success to her unwavering faith, which has been her driving force. “The most powerful thing you can do on earth is create, and I am grateful that this is what God has called me to do,” she says. She smiled as she recalled the stories she heard as a little girl from her mother, a singer who dreamed of Broadway, and her grandmother’s beautiful paintings that had to be put on hold. With an unshakeable feeling that she is supposed to carry something from their legacy, she promises not to let their stories, sacrifices, or prayers go to waste. When asked where she saw herself in five years, she quickly

responded that she was in love with where she was, but “I will go wherever God and

opportunity take me.” No doubt, Sinclaire Redding is a name we will be hearing for a long time.
